Best way to enjoy okinawa soba!

Okinawa soba is a local noodle dish that is unlike udon or ramen. Its signature is the pork and bonito blended broth and buckwheat noodle. The pork slices (often soki (soft pork cartillage) toppings is the easiest way to identify that it is okinawa soba, for no other soba looks like that!

There are 3 steps to best enjoy your okinawa soba:

First, Taste the okinawa soba soup  followed by the soba. Next you can taste the pork slices, and eat it together with the soba and soup.

Second, Add in a dash of okinawa sauce (mixed with chili and local wine). The soup will take on a different dimension on your taste buds!

Third, Add in the red ginger slices to the soup. The whole taste profile of the soup changes and will make the okinawa soba a different eating experience all together!

Hence, the 3 steps to enjoy okinawa soba! 3 different tastes for the same bowl of okinawa soba ;)
